PINK PARTY - Be OUT & PROUD at Cafe Flore in San Francisco, USA
Image d'illustration

Gays Without Borders/SF & Cafe Flore are hosting a PINK PARTY - a simple social for solidarity - from 5-7pm on Tuesday, May 17th. Wear PINK or your favorite activist tee shirt and meet fellow activists over drinks (Happy Hour 4-8pm, 2 for 1 Margaritas, and lots of nonalcoholic beverages. Appetizer & dinner menu 4-10pm.) It’s more important than ever to be OUT & PROUD and to evidence strength in numbers. Education overcomes ignorance & prejudice. We’ll be celebrating Ugandan Parliament’s dropping of its "Kill the Gays" bill, as well as honoring I.D.A.H.O. organizers for embracing a position against the death penalty globally. "As I Am" - International IDAHO campaign 2011: We are all different and all unique. It is our differences that complete our humanity. Yet, everywhere daily homophobia and transphobia want to eradicate the uniqueness in us. The AS I AM campaign aims at celebrating our individualities, highlighting the vast diversity that comprises our global community. On the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia, let us all display the true colors of humanity. We hope to see you at Cafe Flore!
